Acerca de mí
I am originally from Queens, N.Y., but I have lived in Atlanta since graduating high school. I completed all of my higher education in the Atlanta area at Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine. My family is from Haiti, and the origins of my name are French. My first name is Moise, which is French for Moses, and all of my close friends call me Moses.
In my neighborhood growing up, I always wanted to make a difference. I chose medicine as the path that will help me make a mark in people's lives by guiding them to prevent illness through healthy living and aiding them when they are sick. The mission at Kaiser Permanente is aligned with my practice philosophy and joining the team at Kaiser Permanente has been a great fit for me.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I am one of the many primary care physicians at Kaiser Permanente. My practice is focused on prevention of disease, managing chronic conditions and treating acute issues. As clinicians, we use evidence-based medical practices, vaccinations, listening and detailed examinations to provide compassionate care. I also have an interest in men's health care.
Cómo vivo bien
I believe we all exist for a purpose. In order to fulfill that purpose to the best of our abilities, the body and mind should be at its best. I thrive by exercising 30 minutes a day, five times a week. Sometimes I break the exercise up by doing 15-20 minutes of exercise before work on the elliptical or lifting weights. I then will do 15-20 minutes of exercise after work by playing basketball, practicing yoga or an at-home boot camp.
I thrive by trying to stay positive, listening to music, praying and meditating, and spending quality time with family. Overall, I thrive the most when I am able to help someone else thrive, because that is part of my purpose in life.
