Acerca de mí
I decided to become a doctor because it is a challenging profession. As I progressed in my training, I realized how much I truly liked working in medicine because, as one professor put it, I earn my living by doing good deeds!Internal medicine eventually became my chosen profession because it offers diagnostic challenges on a daily basis. Each day brings a different perspective in life and medicine. Every morning when I go to work, I am still learning something new about the human body and the human condition. Every day in every way, I try to get better. This work has its ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I know that I am doing something good. I do the best I can, and although I may not be able to save the world, I can help our members live happier, healthier lives.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I spent almost 10 years in Perry, Ga. before joining Kaiser Permanente. I am board certified in internal medicine with special interests in diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.I perform most common office procedures like giving joint injections, draining abscesses and suturing cuts. I have learned that while we treat diseases, ultimately, it is the quality of life that really counts.

Relaxing is an art. I believe that being able to "chill" when it is time to relax is as important as being able to concentrate mightily when the occasion demands it.My idea of relaxation varies day-to-day. Some days it could be going to the Shakespeare Festival or Chastain Park, and other days it can be as simple as hanging out with friends at a barbecue in the backyard. I also enjoy traveling to exotic locales and reading.
