Born to Chinese parents in London, England, we moved to Marietta, Ga. when I was 13 years old. After undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State University, and two years as a molecular microbiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, I turned to the field of medicine as the best way for me to be useful and make a difference in people's lives. I attended the Medical College of Georgia for medical school and completed my family medicine residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. And despite having lived in Georgia all these years, traces of my British accent still remain.
I am a family medicine physician, which enables me to take care of men, women and children at all stages of life. Addressing the needs of the individual as well as their family members, I provide complete and continuous care. This can range anywhere from treating an acute problem, managing chronic medical conditions, preventing diseases and encouraging health promotion.
In my spare time, you may find me pursing a variety of activities, including listening to music, watching classic movies, eating cuisines of the world, assembling jigsaw puzzles (some of my handiwork is displayed in my office), lap swimming, and of course, spending time with my family.
