I was born in Toronto, but moved to Atlanta when I was seven. I grew up alongside our city as it expanded around me. After receiving my undergraduate and medical degree from Emory, I decided that I needed a change of scenery. I moved to New York City to complete my internal medicine residency at Cornell/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. After three years of residency, I worked for a year in the Bronx at Montefiore Medical Center and then pursued a gastroenterology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, RI. While I loved New York and New England, I am thrilled to be back in Atlanta and working with Kaiser Permanente!
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I am really happy to be a member of the Gastroenterology Department at Kaiser Permanente. Gastroenterology is an exciting and diverse field in which I deal with disorders from the esophagus to the colon, as well as managing liver, pancreatic and biliary pathology. I particularly like treating inflammatory bowel disease and liver disorders, such as Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. I truly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of compassionate, patient-centered care while simultaneously ensuring quality and adherence to medical guidelines.
Cómo vivo bien
I try to enjoy each day to the fullest. I love sports, watching movies, live music, attempting to cook and traveling... anywhere. But most of all, I love hanging out with my family and friends.
