Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
Idioma que hablo:
Sí, acepto pacientes nuevos. Es posible que sea necesaria una remisión.
I left my home in China and came to the U.S. in 2001. During that time, I spent 10 years working at McKnight Brain Institute Neuroscience Research Facility at the University of Florida. The experiences I had and the people I met were very rewarding to me. It was there that I felt my passion for medicine and clinical care become stronger. After my daughter was born in 2007, I made a life changing decision to start my clinical training in the United States. I successfully completed my one-year internal medicine training at the Tallahassee Memory Hospital, three years of neurology residency and one year of clinical neurophysiology fellowship training (EEG/EMG) at the University of Florida. As a board certified neurologist, I joined Kaiser Permanente of Georgia in 2017. By running a multi-specialty medical care system, Kaiser Permanente delivers high-quality care for our members. I am so happy and proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician! As a practicing physician, my goal is to provide excellent care and I strive to make our patients my top priority.
I chose to specialize in neurology because it was a specialty that I had a strong connection with and was most passionate about. As a team member of the Kaiser Permanente Neurology Department, I really enjoy what I do on a daily basis. We strive to be efficient and we have such a caring and supportive group. As part of the team, we focus on high-quality care to our patients in many ways. We provide care for all kinds of neurological diseases. In our state-of-the-art facilities, we have MRI, CT, EEG and NCS/EMG capabilities.
I am a very energetic and positive person. In my spare time, I like to play basketball, take Zumba classes, swim, jog and travel with my family and friends. My family, friends and patients are what motivate me to continue to do what I love the most. I love to read and am always looking for new books to digest as part of my continuous learning process. My other stress reliever is listening to music or the radio.
