Acerca de mí
I was born in Ethiopia in East Africa and then moved to Georgia. Georgia is my second home as I graduated from Central Gwinnett High School and University of West Georgia.
As I grew up in Ethiopia, I witnessed numerous human sufferings due to simple diseases such as malaria. Since that time, I developed a true passion to become a medical doctor. My compassion and a sense of care for others is what kindled my interest in medicine and thus I have decided to dedicate the rest of my life in helping people become healthy and stay healthy.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
When I was in medical school, family medicine was always appealing to me because it presents opportunities to interact with a diverse patient population. It also provides challenges allowing me to grow personally and professionally. One of my goals is to see healthy and ill patients as a continuum and to offer care for people as they transition through the stages of life. Ultimately, I want to build enduring and meaningful relationships with our members and also strengthen my passion to work for the betterment of human condition through health and medicine. Working for Kaiser Permanente gives me an opportunity to build a consistent relationship with my patients that will allow me to provide compassionate care and be a health care advocate.
Cómo vivo bien
I love to cook, play volleyball and spend times with my two daughters. I picture myself as an educator to patients and families. At Kaiser Permanente, physicians are able to care for our members, build patient-physician bonds like an extended family, and become an advocate for both patients and fellow practitioners.
