About Me

I’ve lived in Colorado most of my life and went to CU for college and medical school. I’m married with four kids, a dog and a cat. We love to have adventures together. Caring for people is my passion. I love medicine because it brings together science and the ability to develop relationships with people.

About my practice

Supportive Care allows me to work with a team (nurse, social worker and chaplain) and to get to know patients in their own personal surroundings. I consider it an honor to visit patients in their homes, and to be part of their journey through serious illness. It is very important to me to listen to where my patients are coming from, what worries them, and how I can help them feel their best. I focus on comfort and quality of life for patients and their caregivers. Electronic medical records help me and my patients to have a better understanding of their overall health, so we can provide the most appropriate care for them.

How I thrive

I am a runner and love to explore the trails around Colorado with my family.
