About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I would like to share some information about myself in order for you to learn more about me. I am very pleased to be here and given the opportunity to serve your medical needs. I also want to welcome you to Kaiser Permanente. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this outstanding medical group.

Biography

I spent my childhood here in Oxnard, California. At that time, most of Oxnard was farmland, and I enjoyed being a farmer's son. I went to grade school in Oxnard and attended and graduated from Oxnard High School. I graduated from USC and went to medical school at Tulane University, in Louisiana. I finished my residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at UC Irvine. I spent a number of years in private practice in Camarillo before I became a Kaiser Permanente physician. I am very pleased to be practicing family medicine here and serving members in West Ventura County.

About my practice

My training in both internal medicine and pediatrics gives me the opportunity to practice family medicine. I enjoy all aspects of care in all different age groups. I especially enjoy caring for families and getting to know members on a personal level. Developing these relationships is truly the fun part of my job. I feel it is an honor to be a part of my patient's lives. I hope to use my knowledge, skills, and experience to provide good medical advice and excellent care.

How I thrive

I truly enjoy fishing, especially salt water. Being out in the ocean is always a thrill. My family enjoys water sports. Many of our trips in the summer involve trips to lakes. I have children in college and we enjoy going to college sport events. I also enjoy high school and youth sporting events. My daughters compete world wide in dance, and I have been able to travel to many different states and countries with them. I thrive and try to stay well by exercising, which I try to do on a daily basis.
