About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to share some information about my credentials and experiences with you. I look forward to working together with you to take care of your health.

Biography

I was born in England and moved to Northern California along with my family, where I spent my childhood years. I attended UC Riverside and received a B.S. in biochemistry; I earned my master's degree in biotechnology at Columbia University. I then spent time doing cancer related research in laboratories at UCSF, Burnham Institute, and Harvard. My desire for the more personal aspects of medicine lead me to pursue medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. I completed my specialty training in hematology-oncology at the University of California at Davis.

About my practice

Our team is dedicated to providing members with the best possible care, and our oncologists work collaboratively to care for you. Our chemotherapy nurses are gentle and kind, and our oncology pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly. Prior to your visits with me, I encourage you to write down all the questions and concerns you would like to address. I enjoy communicating medical material in a language that is easy to understand.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I love to spend time outdoors. I love to hike, camp, ski, travel and spend time at the beach. I really love my job and feel that is a privilege to help others in such profound ways.
