Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am a psychiatrist at the Woodland Hills office, and I look forward to working with you. It is an honor to be a part of Kaiser Permanente and to have the opportunity to get to know the wonderful people who visit and work in our hospital.
I am a native of California and was actually born in a Kaiser Permanente hospital. During medical school, I realized that psychiatry was the most meaningful and exciting part of medicine for me. After my general psychiatry residency, I then completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry to further develop my knowledge in the field.
I work predominantly in the clinic with adults of all ages. In our clinic, I work with case managers, nurses, and therapists. I also spend some of my time in the hospital seeing patients in the emergency room and in the hospital itself. Together, we can make a plan for your health and well-being.
I try my best to find balance in my life between my profession, my husband, my children, and my health. I have found that the harder I work, the more I need to exercise in order to feel balanced. Of course, there are other times when a good book and cup of coffee are all that I need to feel balanced.
