About Me

I am from Wahiawa on the island of Oahu. Ever since I was a little kid, my dream was to become a doctor. What kid doesn’t dream big? With hard work and perseverance, I was able to successfully pursue medicine and I cherish the opportunity to teach others about living healthier lives.

About my practice

I decided to become an Ob/Gyn physician because it was my favorite rotation in medical school. The experience really stuck with me and I like helping women and families. The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group is a great organization to practice medicine with because they have given me all the resources I need to provide excellent patient care. I am free to practice comfortably within the guidelines. I believe in making decisions based on what is best for my patients because they are my priority. I try to listen to my patients and educate them on their options and how to best maintain their health. In the exam room I like to “talk story” and have a laugh with my patients when appropriate.

How I thrive

I stay physically healthy by playing basketball and exercising as well as eating healthy (or attempting to). To relax I enjoy spending my time with my family, playing with our cats and dogs, or playing with technology. And I love to maintain surgical dexterity with video games.
