About Me

I was born on the East Coast however most of my life has been split between Oregon and Alaska. I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. My family and I are all avid skiers and also enjoy hiking, whitewater boating and a variety of other outdoor activities. I feel privileged to work at Kaiser Permanente and to have the opportunity to provide Emergency Medical care in an integrated health care system.

About my practice

I work part-time in the Emergency Department at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and part-time as Assistant Chief of Staff. We provide care in the Emergency Department to patients with conditions that range from minor to life threatening. We have a dedicated group of doctors and support staff committed to providing the highest quality care in a supportive environment. I enjoy the variety and challenges associated with a busy Emergency Medicine practice. My greatest satisfaction is having the opportunity to help people in their time of urgent need.

How I thrive

First and foremost, I thrive on the time I get to spend with family and friends. I thrive physically and mentally by staying active year round with biking, hiking and other activities in the summer and skiing in the winter.
