About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues, nurses, and support staff and, of course, our members. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

Having been born and raised in Southern California, I can't see why anyone would want to live anywhere else. After doing my undergraduate work at UC Irvine, I traveled to UC San Diego for medical school, and then completed my residency training at UC Davis in Sacramento. But I couldn't stay away from beautiful Southern California, and so I returned to Southern California and joined the Emergency Department at Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center.

About my practice

Working with the wonderful team at Kaiser Permanente has been an unbelievable experience. Interacting with members and trying to make a difference in their health has not only been rewarding, but also reaffirming of my life-long desire to help others. Working in the fast-paced and hectic environment of the Emergency Department can be very challenging, but also very rewarding. I pride myself on being respectful of everyone. I strive to communicate with an open mind, and care with an open heart. No one wants to go to the Emergency Department, but I do all I can to give my patients as positive an experience as possible.

How I thrive

I'm an avid snowboarder and love the outdoors in general. I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time on the lake. I also love watching movies, attending sporting events, and trying out new foods. I believe being healthy in body plays a big role in being healthy in mind and spirit. Finding balance between my personal life and my career has me very happy to be where I am at now.
