About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente. I have been working for Kaiser Permanente as an OB/GYN physician for six years. In 2006, I transitioned into my administrative role as one of the assistant chiefs of the OB/GYN department. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente both as a clinician, as well as an administrator who is working to make our organization the best health care delivery system in the country.

Biography

I am a native of Southern California who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. In fact, I was born right here at Kaiser Permanente Fontana! My desire to become an OB/GYN physician stems from my high school years during which I had the experience of attending a delivery. From that moment, I knew that delivering babies was something that I had to pursue. Bringing new life into the world is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I am blessed to have two boys of my own and a wonderful husband. I enjoy spending time with my family and listening to jazz.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their fears, anxieties, and hopes; it is a privilege to help members understand what concerns them and facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations. It is also a privilege to be involved with one of their most memorable life experiences- the birth of a child. I am honored that members entrust me with their care and I will always strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

My family is my major priority. I enjoy the normal family outings such as camping, going to the boys football games, and going out to see the latest movies. I also thrive by exercising and getting great massages.
