I’m originally from Georgia. I attended the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, where I earned my MD, PhD, and my internal medicine residency. I received my fellowship in Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes at the University of Colorado. I remained as faculty there until I joined Kaiser Permanente in October of 2016.
I have a special interest in thyroid disease and cancer, though I enjoy treatment of all endocrine disorders. I value the education of our members- it is important to empower our members with knowledge. An understanding of one’s medical conditions is important for shared decision making and disease management/treatment.
I am an avid football fan love the GA Bulldogs & Denver Broncos! I enjoy music and trying to cook! I love Colorado and have enjoyed getting to know this beautiful state on our annual “Tour de Colorado” family vacations with my amazing husband and two fun and bright children.
