Acerca de mí
I was born at Kaiser Permanente's Los Angeles Medical Center, and I was raised in the Los Angeles area. I moved to Georgia in 2017, but practiced at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles prior to my move. I have always been passionate about working with children and specifically helping families battle obesity.
Becoming a pediatrician was a goal I set for myself at a young age. I attended UC Berkeley and majored in social welfare. After college, I obtained a master's degree in social work, as I felt the training would help me better understand how social circumstances such as education, income and language spoken plays a role in health care. I then went to the University of Southern California to pursue my goal of becoming a pediatrician.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
As a general pediatrician, I am fortunate to be able to work with children from birth to age 21. I consider myself a partner to parents in creating a healthy life for their children. Preventive care and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are central to my practice. I also believe in providing the best care when children are sick. I do not like to keep our members waiting long and I think it is important for me to be accessible. Parents entrust me with care of their children and this is a privilege I do not take lightly.
Cómo vivo bien
Maintaining a well-balanced life is very important to me. I stay healthy by exercising regularly and spending time with my husband, three children, family and friends. I enjoy dancing, running, dining out, traveling and going to a good movie.
