Affiliated Practitioners are responsible for ensuring Kaiser Permanente members' rights during the course of treatment in their care.

The complete Member Rights and Responsibilities statement found at kp.org/memberrights/hi. includes procedures of reporting member concerns. It is important for Affiliated Practitioners to be aware of these policies and procedures as they encourage a partnership between the member and the healthcare professional --a partnership based on mutual respect, cooperation, and effective communication.

Members may also consult their Member Handbook, the Kaiser Permanente member website www.kaiserpermanente.org, and the Annual Subscriber Notification concerning their Rights and Responsibilities or call Member Services at 1-800-966-5955 for a printed copy.

If you or a member has questions about care and coverage for members visiting a different Kaiser Permanente state, call the Travel Line and speak with a customer service representative about travel care options: 951-268-3900 (TTY 711), or, learn more at kp.org/travel.
