Acerca de mí
Welcome to my web page!
I am a Los Angeles native and recently completed my training in Women’s Imaging at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. My subspecialty focuses on a holistic approach to Women’s Imaging, including advanced radiology training in maternal fetal abnormalities, gynecological health, and breast cancer. Prior to returning to Southern California, I trained at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Pittsburgh. I am thrilled to join Kaiser Permanente and happy to return to my home state of California.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
The most rewarding part about being a doctor is the doctor-patient relationship. The role of a doctor can be challenging sometimes. Health problems are often scary and confusing to many members. At times, I’ve had to give bad news. The complexity of healthcare decisions is humbling, and the things doctors say can change a member’s life. But in those situations, I always think back to the “my mama rule.” When members of my family got sick, I would think about how I wanted them to be treated and cared for. I always think of members as someone’s loved one. I am grateful for their trust and for the opportunity to provide high-quality care. That is why I take the time to consult members. I tell them what I see and what it might mean in terms of their health. But even in tough situations, I’m a believer in hope. I tell members that we are going to take really good care of them and that they are in good hands.
Cómo vivo bien
I believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of living well and live that philosophy in my own life. I enjoy keeping active at the gym, CrossFit, and yoga. When I’m not staying active on the job, I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and fiancé.
