I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and to offer you a snapshot of my Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery practice. It is very important that you feel comfortable with any physician who helps you in your wellness. I hope this page will help you become familiar with me.
I grew up in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for college. I continued my medical education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and School of Public Health. I trained in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I completed my fellowship in procedural dermatology (which includes training in Mohs micrographic surgery, lasers, and cosmetic procedures) at UC Irvine. I am a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
I am proud of the care our Mohs surgery team provides. We understand that surgery can be stressful. Each of us on the team, which includes nurses, staff, and me, will guide you through each step of the procedure. I am honored that patients entrust me with their care. I strive to give the same excellent care to my patients that I would expect to be given to my own family.
I, like many of my patients, am constantly striving to achieve balance in my life and to carve out some time for myself. My time away from the office is centered on my family. My husband and I have three children, so we are always busy with their school, activities, and sports. When I get a chance, I enjoy hiking on local trails and reading.
