Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I look forward to introducing myself and hope this page gives you an opportunity to get to know me.
I am from Southern California and attended the University of Southern California. After college, I moved to Chicago where I earned my medical degree from Chicago Medical School. I then moved to Detroit where I completed my orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital. I found myself back in sunny California for a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic where I had the opportunity to take care of athletes from the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Sparks, the Anaheim Ducks, and the USC Trojans football team. I have wanted to be a sports medicine surgeon since I was a child. It is an honor and a blessing to help my patients live their lives to the fullest. I take pride in my job and strive to give all of my patients the best care possible.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I specialize in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. In addition to performing surgery for broken bones, I specialize in tendon repairs, ligament reconstructions, and cartilage restoration procedures in the knee and shoulder. Additionally, I perform Tommy John reconstructions in the elbows of throwers (named after the famous Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tommy John, who was the first person to have surgery of this type). My goal is to allow my patients to continue living the active lifestyle they choose for as long as possible.
Cómo vivo bien
I truly believe that in order for me to be the best physician possible for my patients, I must live a well-balanced, healthy lifestyle. I do so by working out every morning for 45 minutes before coming into work. I enjoy playing basketball, football, and paddle tennis. I also enjoy rowing, biking, and hiking. When I am not working or working out, I am laughing, hiking or attending sporting events with my wife and daughter.
