Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am dedicated to providing you with high-quality, comprehensive care. I am passionate about the services that I offer, and I look forward you to meeting you in person.
I was born and raised in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. I studied cellular genetics and biology as an undergraduate at the University of British Columbia. I moved to the United States, where I completed my clinical rotations during medical school, mostly in New York and New Jersey. I completed my general surgery residency within the Cleveland Clinic health care system in Ohio. Following completion of my general surgery training, I worked for the Cleveland Clinic as a general and trauma surgeon for 2 years before completing my advanced specialty training in vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Missouri. Upon completion of my training, I worked for the University of Missouri at a busy level I trauma center. I recently have moved to Southern California and have been fortunate to join a vibrant vascular surgery team here at Kaiser Permanente’s Riverside Medical Center.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
My practice is focused on vascular problems (disease in blood vessels, both arteries and veins). As we get older, our blood vessels can harden, narrow, or dilate. Most of these changes don’t cause symptoms and therefore do not often require surgical treatment. If you are referred to me, I see my job as finding out what the problem is, defining the cause of the problem, finding a way to slow down progress of the disease, and if the problem is causing more serious symptoms, discussing the benefits and risks of further treatment. My clinical interests include endovascular and aortic reconstruction surgery for blockages and aneurysmal disease, carotid disease, peripheral vascular disease, dialysis access, and vein pathology such as varicose veins.

In my job, I take a moment each day to reflect on the successes of that day. I enjoy meeting new people and offering my help. I am thankful for my supportive wife and children, who accept the hours of my profession and share with me my passions outside of medicine: private pilot, travel, and diving. I look forward to meeting you.
