Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page.
I graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada , and completed a general surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. After that, I completed a surgical oncology fellowship at City of Hope Cancer Center. This experience and training has allowed me participate in the surgical care of cancer patients, and I am greatly honored to be a part of their lives. I have been a surgical oncologist at Kaiser Permanente for more than 14 years.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
My aim is to aid members, families, and friends in the prevention, education, and surgical treatment of cancer. I serve as surgical oncologist, chief of the Surgery Department, and chairman of the Operating Room Committee at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center. I work with highly skilled medical and radiation oncologists in a joint effort to provide Kaiser Permanente members with high-quality cancer care. Our team's goal is to provide comprehensive services aimed at the prevention, early diagnosis, and individualized, compassionate care of cancer patients. My goal as a cancer surgeon is to provide excellent oncologic care, and I specialize in minimally invasive and laparoscopic cancer procedures. I treat cancers of the digestive system, specifically pancreas, liver, stomach, biliary tract, colon, and anus. Additional areas of expertise include breast, thyroid, melanoma, and soft tissue sarcomas. I work closely with the genetics and plastic surgery reconstructive departments. Together, we strive to improve the quality of life for those diagnosed and living with cancer. We work together in an effort to provide long, healthy, happy lives for our members and their families who then become part of my family.

I truly believe that good health and cancer prevention can be attained through a healthy diet and daily exercise. To unwind, I take part in in high-altitude trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, tennis, spinning, and yoga programs. I encourage members to enroll in the nutrition and exercise programs offered at the Panorama City Medical Center.
