About Me

I am from Tripoli, Libya. I decided to live in Colorado because I fell in love with the state’s natural beauty when I first visited. Then I met my wife here and decided to move back to be near her family. We have 1 daughter.

I became a physician because of my grandmother, who suffered from brittle diabetes and hypertension. She was a major influence in my life. My grandmother died before I finished medical school, but for me she still lives on in all the patients I endeavor to help in my career.

About my practice

I see patients in sub-acute rehabilitation facilities while they are recovering after a hospital stay or an illness. I enjoy listening to my patients’ stories of life and wisdom, and I share my honest medical opinion to guide you through the challenging medical world. I listen to your concerns and help you and your family to understand your medical needs, so you can make the decisions that are appropriate for you. I am constantly searching for ways to educate myself on how to protect my elderly and frail patients from unnecessary medical intervention or medication that is not appropriate for their needs.

How I thrive

I enjoy cooking ethnic food and exposing my family and friends to Libyan cuisine.
