About Me

I was born and raised in Alexandria, Minnesota, and received my Bachelor of Arts in biology at the College of St. Benedict. I enjoyed many summer days on the lake with my family, but the mountains were calling. I moved to Colorado, completed medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and did my internal medicine residency at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. I practiced for 2 years at Parkview doing outpatient internal medicine and was involved in teaching with the residency program before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2018.

About my practice

My role as a physician is to partner with each patient to help them navigate their acute medical issues, chronic diseases, preventative care, and overall well-being. It is important to me that patients feel heard and respected. The quick rapport and relationships that I build with my patients are some of my favorite aspects of being a physician. I do not offer Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT).

How I thrive

I strive to find balance in life by enjoying the Colorado outdoors, climbing 14ers with my husband, and practicing yoga on a regular basis. My 2 stepsons keep me on my toes and I am thankful that I am a part of their journeys. We also enjoy traveling back to Minnesota to spend time with my family and traveling overseas to experience new mountaintops.
