About Me

I was born and raised on the East Coast. My family moved here in 2005. My work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is the result of a progression of opportunities that opened up for me, which I was fortunate to take advantage of.

About my practice

I have been a neonatal nurse practitioner since 2002 and have worked in the NICU since 1995. I believe in treating families the way that I would like to be treated—with patience, understanding, and respect. I consider it a privilege to take care of these babies.

How I thrive

After losing 70 lbs. in college, I am dedicated to sticking to a healthy way of eating and exercising. Although every day isn't perfect, I am happy to say I exercise six days a week and continue to keep that weight off. I like to volunteer for the school, sew, enjoy the sunshine, and continue to learn new things in my profession.
