Biography

I moved here with my family to do my residency at Kern Medical Center. We liked the small-town feeling, and so I joined Kaiser Permanente after finishing my residency in 1991. My family consists of my husband, two sons, and a blind dog. As a family, we like to travel around the world to see different cultures and people. We also like to participate in community activities.

About my practice

I believe strongly in preventive care. I am here to not only treat my patients but to educate them about their conditions believe we need to do something about obesity epidemic and also manage prediabeticc stage to prevent diabetes to prevent many complications that can be prevented. I just recertified for American Board of Internal Medical board in 2013

How I thrive

I like to attend different medical conferences to keep my knowledge base up-to-date. I spend most of my time with my family. I exercise and meditate, and I like to read spiritual books.
