About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my ob-gyn practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you.

I was born in Taiwan and moved to Southern California at the age of 9. I think of myself as a native Southern Californian, having attended high school and college right here in Los Angeles. I completed my undergraduate study at UCLA, then traveled 3,000 miles to New York City for medical school. Despite many attractive features that the Big Apple had to offer, I missed Southern California dearly, and I returned to Los Angeles to complete my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.

About my practice

It is a privilege to help my patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that my patients have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family. Besides the general scope of my ob-gyn practice, my personal interests include laparoscopic surgery.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of total health. Besides visiting the local gym, I hope to one day train for and participate in the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon. For leisure, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I enjoy watching many sports, and college game day on Saturday is one of my favorite days of the week.
