About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very lucky to work at Kaiser Permanente and I enjoy my colleagues and patients. I look forward to helping you care for your health.

Biography

I have wanted to become a physician since my high school years. I have lived in Southern California for over 30 years. At USC I received a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering and then attended medical school. I chose to specialize in gastroenterology and hepatology due to their diversity, evolving new concepts and procedures, and excellent mix of diagnostic and interventional procedures and medicine. For me, the practice of medicine is perhaps the most rewarding possible career. Outside of work, I like spending time with family and friends. I care greatly about the environment. I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, running, playing tennis, and traveling.

About my practice

At Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center, I work closely with my colleagues to provide the best possible care for our patients. We remain up-to-date by going to outside professional meetings and having our own meetings to discuss the latest developments in our field. When needed, we cover each other to take care of our patients.

How I thrive

I firmly believe that good nutrition and regular exercise can help prevent disease from occurring in the first place.
