About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice

Biography

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and have spent most of my life in Los Angeles. I attended Beverly Hills High School and graduated from UCLA magna cum laude in biochemistry. Brought up by a physican, I chose to follow my father's career and studied cardiology. I was married in 2005. My wife and I have one cat, a Siberian, and one dog, an Australian Shepherd.

About my practice

I have been very active in the field of atrial fibrillation and heart failure. I've contributed to the Kaiser Permanente Clinical Practice Guidelines for atrial fibrillation. I was also primary investigator in major clinical trial for alternative anticoagulation therapy for atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease.

How I thrive

Every person should be proactive in his or her own heath care. I believe in being physically fit and active. I enjoy going to the gym daily and like skiing, swimming and traveling.
