About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. My father, who is also a gastroenterologist, largely influenced my decision to become a gastroenterologist. I attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I had my residency in internal medicine at UC San Francisco and then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at UC San Diego. I also completed a fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease under the direction of William Sandborn, MD, at UCSD.

About my practice

I specialize in general gastroenterology-related conditions and have expertise in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). Along with my colleagues and the gastroenterology staff, I strive to deliver high-quality care to every one of our members.

How I thrive

I love music of all kinds and enjoy traveling, cooking, and learning and speaking French and Spanish.
