I have lived in Denver since age 1. I attended Colorado College for my undergraduate education and University of Colorado for medical school. I did my residency at Saint Joseph Hospital. Other than a two-year stint in private practice when I first finished residency, I have been with Kaiser Permanente for my whole career. I spent 11 years as a primary care physician at the Skyline Medical Offices and then transferred to the House Call Program. I now see patients in long-term care facilities, as well as house call patients. It has been a privilege working with patients and families and helping them navigate challenging medical issues.
My practice is focused on patients who are unable to leave their homes and patients who live in nursing homes. I love the challenge of managing multiple complex medical issues and trying to help my patients have the best quality of life possible. I am lucky to work with a great nurse practitioner, as well as a team that includes a pharmacist, nursing support and support staff that help me provide and coordinate care for my patients. I am thorough and detail-oriented. I take the time to get to know my patients and listen to understand your questions and concerns.
I like to spend my non-working time skiing, weight lifting and practicing yoga. I am very close to my two adult children and I travel several times a year to visit them. I am lucky to spend quite a bit of time with my parents, who are healthy and live nearby. I have a large circle of friends and I enjoy doing a variety of activities with my husband of 30 years.
