About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have the opportunity to share some information about myself so that you can become a little better acquainted with me and my background.

Biography

I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where I received my bachelor's degree in biology. I moved to Los Angeles to attend medical school and this is where I have lived ever since. I decided to become a doctor my freshman year of high school, after having an exceptional biology teacher that year and becoming very intrigued with human genetics.

About my practice

I really enjoy getting to know my patients and believe in including the patient in the decision-making process regarding his or her care. I am fortunate to work in a wonderful small clinic, where we are able to work as a team within my specialty and also have colleagues available from multiple fields available for consultation. I also believe in viewing and treating each patient as a whole person.

How I thrive

I have been practicing yoga for eight years and truly believe that this helps me both physically and mentally. I also enjoy scuba diving, traveling, and working out. I love living in Southern California with the wonderful weather and all sorts of things to do.
