About Me

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Because I’ve always enjoyed math and the sciences, I knew my career path would lead me into research, teaching, or medicine. After having a good talk with my family doctor, I was inspired to study medicine.

About my practice

In my third year of medical school, I did an anesthesia rotation and I absolutely loved it. I decided to specialize in anesthesia and to subspecialize in cardiovascular anesthesia. I find that patients are often quite nervous day of their surgery, especially if they are having open heart surgery. By explaining things in simple terms, I aim to help them feel more comfortable. It gives me satisfaction to know that I am able to reassure them and that my patients are receiving the best care possible.

How I thrive

I try to stay healthy by going to the gym, paddleboarding, fishing, reading, traveling and generally trying new things.
