About Me

Welcome! I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a Kaiser Permanente pediatrician. I look forward to seeing you and caring for your child here at the Huntington Beach Medical Offices.

Biography

I was born and raised in New York City. I completed my undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and my medical studies at State University of New York in Brooklyn. I moved to Orange County for my pediatric residency training at UC Irvine, which included working at Miller Children’s and CHOC hospitals. I continued as a pediatric chief resident and then as a residency assistant program director, teaching and training future pediatricians. After a few years, I shifted my focus to patient care and joined Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I feel honored to help care for your child, whether he or she is sick or well. Knowing that I help children stay healthy from infancy to young adulthood is extremely rewarding. Although it is vital to incorporate medical knowledge and clinical skills in the care I provide, it is also important to be a good listener and understanding of members and their families. I also believe the best treatment is preventive care. For example, childhood vaccinations prevent severe illness and can be lifesaving. I will gladly discuss this topic with any parents who have concerns about childhood vaccines.

How I thrive

In order to stay healthy, I practice yoga and enjoy bike rides along the Pacific Coast Highway. I enjoy traveling and have visited multiple countries around the world, including Thailand (father’s side) and the Philippines (mother’s side). The beautiful weather and beaches drew me to Orange County, and I have not wanted to leave since!
