Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I work with a team of talented eye surgeons and dedicated staff here at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, and I look forward to meeting you.
I have always been interested in the physics of light. My mentors at Stanford, MIT, and Harvard helped me turn those interests into an academic pursuit. My Ph.D thesis was about developing ways to take 3D videos of cancer cells in order to better target them. My research in optics inspired me to appreciate how intricate the human eyes are. This admiration for the visual system ultimately made me gravitate toward ophthalmology.
Cataract and glaucoma are the two major areas of my practice.
I run, swim and practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
