I moved to Oregon from Indiana at a young age. In my teens I volunteered with the elderly, disabled, and individuals with chronic mental health issues. I began studying psychology in high school and continued in college and graduate school. I graduated from Linfield College with my bachelor's in Psychology and from Lewis & Clark College with my master's in Counseling Psychology.
I use evidence based approaches when working with patients. I primarily use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work with a wide range of issues, diagnoses and ages.
In order to maintain my own wellbeing, I am active with exercise, hiking, biking, boating, projects around the house, and spending time with friends and great family.
