About Me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself and my practice.

I am a Southern California native and have lived most of my life in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. While I was an undergraduate I had the opportunity to work in assisting spinal cord injury patients to walk again. This experience first exposed me to the art of medicine and practicing this art has been a passion of mine since. I attended medical school at the University of Colorado in Denver, and then completed a surgical internship at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital, also in Denver. My anesthesia training was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital, located in Boston. My fellowship in interventional pain medicine was completed at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

About my practice

I currently practice full time in the interventional anesthesiology clinic at the Riverside Medical Center. I currently perform a variety of procedures used in the ongoing treatment of multiple chronic pain conditions. These procedures can be extremely valuable in the treatment of lower back pain, neck pain, pain from peripheral neuropathy, persistent pain post-spinal or -chest surgery, pain from post-herpetic neuralgia, as well as cancer-related pain and complex regional pain syndrome. We pride ourselves in providing advanced techniques for the treatment of various pain conditions.

How I thrive

I have a balanced and full life. In addition to a stimulating career I enjoy surfing, hiking, and a variety of sports. In addition I enjoy a wide variety of music styles.
