My early childhood years were spent moving around to several military bases with locations in Florida and Alaska, but I consider myself as a Georgia native. I was born in Fort Valley, Ga., and I have lived in central Georgia for several years. My decision to practice medicine began my junior year of high school as I experienced family illnesses that drove my passion to understand disease processes. I particularly enjoy patient education. My wife shares a common interest in patient education as she works in public health. We are also enjoying parenthood with our daughter.
I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Ambulatory Medicine Department. Our entire department is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our members. My specialty is in internal medicine, and I take special interest in preventive care and management of chronic diseases for adults.
I thrive by maintaining strong relational bonds with family and friends. I enjoy weight training and playing basketball.
