About Me

I am a native of Atlanta and a true Georgia peach! I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to come back to my hometown to serve my community. My desire and passion to become a physician started during childhood. My pediatrician was very influential in initially sparking my interest in medicine. This was followed by many mentors along the way who greatly contributed to my success. My pursuit of the medical field has been a long spiritual journey, but has also been very gratifying. Fortunately, my husband and two children have been very supportive, loving and understanding of my career choice.

About my practice

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a great group of people who are just as compassionate about patient care as I am. My interest is in teaching and educating our members about their health conditions so that they can appropriately make informed decisions concerning their care. I manage a wide range of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and many others. I strongly feel that the body is a temple and I strive each day to help our members maintain an overall healthy lifestyle through education, exercise and healthy diet.

How I thrive

I thrive by playing video games, traveling, bowling, going to the movies, running, meditating, attending church and spending quality time with family and friends.
