About Me

I came to Colorado for the climate, the outdoors, the skiing and a great job. I got into medicine to help people and to potentially positively impact their lives. The best part of being a doctor is getting to know and getting to help people every day. I spent several years in the Navy, and have trained and traveled throughout the world with them. We are grateful to now be settled here in Colorado.

About my practice

I chose this specialty because of its diverse pathologies, its complex anatomy, and the opportunity to do potentially curative surgery for many of these conditions. I enjoy working with primary care providers as well as other related specialists to provide an important team approach to treating many of the patients I see. This is facilitated by Kaiser Permanente’s integrated care model and electronic medical record, which allows me to see the big picture of your health so we can make treatment plans that meet your needs and lifestyle.
While I see and treat a broad range of otolaryngology conditions, I specialize in treatment of airway, voice and swallowing disorders. I also perform surgery for head and neck endocrine conditions, specifically thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy.

How I thrive

I enjoy the outdoors and skiing.
