About Me

Welcome to my Web page! Thank you for taking some time to learn more about my practice.

Biography

I was born in Los Angeles, but I grew up in the Philippines. It was after finishing medical school that I decided to come back to the United States for good. I’m married and have three wonderful children — two girls and a boy. My hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and watching great movies. When I completed my fellowship training in geriatric medicine at UCLA in 1998, I joined Kaiser Permanente in Northern California, where I practiced for 10 years. I relocated to the Riverside area in 2008.

About my practice

Comforting and caring for people is, to me, what matters most. I have always found satisfaction in being able to lend a helping hand and empathize with others. I believe this is why I chose a career in medicine. I am a primary care physician with training in internal medicine and geriatrics. I take care of your primary health care needs and send you to specialists if you need them. I am fluent in Tagalog and Ilocano (Filipino dialects).

How I thrive

I believe in Benjamin Franklin’s saying: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That is why I try to exercise daily, eat a healthy diet, avoid smoking and alcohol, and maintain a positive frame of mind even in difficult circumstances. I always strive to be the best physician that I can, one who treats my patients with respect and compassion.
