About Me

Hello, and thanks so much for visiting my Web page. I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself briefly, and I look forward to working with you on your endocrine-related health issues.

Biography

I have always had a great passion for medicine, especially for hormones and regulatory feedback systems in human body. I was born in Ohio and raised in Tehran, Iran. I attended the prestigious Tehran University of Medical Sciences, after which I moved back to the United States and completed my rewarding internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University program in Detroit, Michigan, after which I moved to beautiful Albuquerque for endocrinology fellowship at the University of New Mexico. After I finished my fellowship, I decided to move to Los Angeles and make it my home. My husband is also a physician, and we are blessed with a boy who is the joy of our lives. I am honored to work with Kaiser Permanente and be a part of this great organization.

About my practice

I take care of endocrinology-related diseases, mostly as a consultant. We diagnose and manage conditions related to thyroid, diabetes, bone, and endocrine glands including pituitary and adrenals. We work as a team with other specialties and primary doctors to provide high-quality care to members.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family. We love beaches and the beautiful nature of Southern California, and we enjoy biking, swimming, and travelling.
