About Me

As a native Oregonian I have a deep love and commitment to the land and people of our region. I consider it a duty and privilege to serve the people of Oregon and Washington, helping to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. It is an honor to work for an organization that promotes such innovation and excellence as Kaiser Permanente. I'm an avid outdoors person and strive to maintain a healthy and active life.

About my practice

I have worked in the mental health field for more than 30 years, in a variety of settings and with people of all ages. I believe in empowering individuals to manage their own lives and work to help our patients develop skills to live independently. I have worked in psychiatric residential treatment with adolescents (20+ years), the juvenile justice system, community mental health, and the Oregon Department of Corrections, where I oversaw behavioral health services for a large, diverse prison in the Portland area.

  • Population specialties: children and families
  • Language capacity: English
  • Areas of focus: clinical supervision, structural family therapy, cognitive hehavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, short-term solution focused therapy (goal oriented)

How I thrive

I enjoy mountain and road biking. I ski in the winter and hike and kayak in the summer. My golf game needs more work than I have time to dedicate to it, and I love the company of my friends and my 2 adult children and their partners.
