I am a diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training and expertise in the field of breast imaging. I currently serve as section chief of the Breast Imaging Service for Kaiser Permanente Colorado. Our group of nine breast imaging radiologists is committed to providing world-class breast imaging care using high-quality imaging and biopsy techniques. Our radiologists are part of a larger multidisciplinary team – including oncologists, surgeons and pathologists – working together to optimize patient care.
A woman in the United States has a 12% chance of developing breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Many families have been directly impacted by breast cancer – including my own. The goal of my practice is to save lives by identifying breast cancer when the cancer is small and treatable. I am a strong advocate of screening mammography, which has been shown to reduce deaths due to breast cancer by 30% or more. I provide all modalities of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, biopsies and other procedures. I am invested in the health of every patient and always deliver the same level of care as I would deliver to my own family. In addition to breast imaging, I also practice general radiology.
Outside of my clinical practice, I enjoy running, hiking, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
