About Me

Hello, my name is Ella. Welcome to my Web page. I would like to give you the opportunity to get to know me as your occupational medicine physician. It is my privilege to be your physician for your occupational health needs.

Biography

I was born in the Philippines and moved to the USA at 28 years of age. I came with my nursing and medical degree and began a fulfilling journey, both personally and professionally. I started my career as a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Next, I obtained my family medicine training at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, where eventually I became a practitioner of urgent care and occupational medicine.

About my practice

I am passionate about medicine. It is my opportunity to gain meaningful insight into each member’s life. Everyday at work gives me a chance to get to know them, offer treatment options, alleviate pain, and hopefully promote positive change.

How I thrive

I strive to achieve balance in my life, because I "wear many hats." Each role I have can be demanding, but I am blessed with great support from co-workers, friends, and family. I am a wife and mother to 2 young children, whom I enjoy pampering with home-cooked traditional Filipino food. I enjoy spending time with my family. We are "foodies" who enjoy trying new dishes and cuisines. We take time for small outings or even just quiet nights at home watching a movie. I also love cooking, baking, and crafting. I love holidays, as it is a perfect excuse to go overboard with cooking and decorating!
