Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me. I am an internist with added specialization in geriatric medicine.
I was born in Eastern Nigeria in the city of Enugu. I knew I wanted to be a physician after watching my grandfather go from being healthy to being diagnosed with diabetes and passing away a few years later. I realized that I wanted to learn more about the diagnosis and management of diseases, and I also wanted to be in a position to share with people ways to stay healthy and prevent disease.
Almost all of my practice is centered around helping patients 65 years and older maintain their functional independence and optimize their quality of life. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy traveling with my family. I also love participating in outdoor activities with my children, especially soccer and badminton.
