About Me

Hello. I'm happy to have you visit my Web page. I’m a practicing surgeon at the Fontana Medical Center, as well as the surgical director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Biography

I moved to California from New York City and, while there are things I miss, being buried in snow is not one of them! I try to get away once each year for volunteer work. Previous trips have taken me to Haiti, but this year I'm headed to the Philippines.

About my practice

I take great pride in having started Kaiser Permanente's only surgical critical care unit. In addition to this, I still have time to practice general surgery.

How I thrive

I find that the best way to unwind is to take a walk in my neighborhood, put in my ear buds, and listen to an audiobook. This way, I can get in shape and get smarter at the same time! By most standards my gardening is pretty bad, but as a former New Yorker, anything that grows is a bonus.
