Welcome to my Web page. I am glad that I have this opportunity to introduce myself to you, and I hope that you find the information provided on this page useful in gaining a better understanding of our division and of my practice.
I consider myself very fortunate in having been able to pursue an education and a career in medicine. I place great value on providing personal care to my patients and joining Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to achieve this objective in a very satisfying manner. I am a staff physician in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of the Internal Medicine Department at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center.
I am one of the six full-time pulmonary and critical care specialists practicing at the Woodland Hills facility. We each spend roughly forty percent of our time attending patients in the intensive care unit, with the remaining time spent in pulmonary medicine consultations on patients in the hospital and the ambulatory pulmonary clinic. All of the physicians on our team have received training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at various Southern California institutions and are board certified in our fields.
While the practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine can be quite demanding, my work schedule still allows me to enjoy life outside of medicine. For me, this mostly includes spending time with my wife and three daughters, as well as my parents, who have been Kaiser Permanente members since the 1980s.
