About Me

Hello, and thanks for visiting my Web page! I'm happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and my practice as a board certified anesthesiologist. I strive to keep you safe and comfortable for your surgery or for the delivery of your baby at the highest standard of care.

Biography

A lifelong “west coaster,” I was born and raised in Orange County, where most of my family still lives. I completed my undergraduate studies at Stanford, followed by medical school at UC San Diego and residency in Los Angeles. I spent my fellowship year in Seattle at the Virginia Mason Medical Center, then returned to Los Angeles for a stint in private practice before joining Kaiser Permanente Orange County.

About my practice

As an anesthesiologist, I believe in the importance of spending time with patients before their procedure in order to allay any fears and anxieties. I administer and supervise anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures, but my specific clinical interest and sub-specialty training lies in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, in which I administer local anesthetics for surgical pain control over targeted areas of the body for certain procedures.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with family and friends, and by maintaining a healthy spiritual life. I volunteer my time through service at my local church and through both local and global outreach. I also enjoy maintaining a healthy lifestyle by being outdoors to hike, run, mountain bike, and snowboard.
