About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I hope to share a little bit about myself with you.

I am a native Californian and was raised in the Bay Area. After completing my undergraduate degree in English at the UC Davis, I left California to attend graduate school at Boston University and then medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. I returned to the Golden State for my residency in obstetrics and gynecology, which I completed at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center. I moved to the San Diego area after completing my residency.

About my practice

I believe that medicine is truly about taking care of the whole person. I am a generalist, meaning that my practice includes both obstetrics and gynecology. I have specific interests in vaginal birth after cesarean delivery, colposcopy, and how nutrition and food impact health. I feel strongly that prevention is a vital aspect of providing good health care and I will work with you to identify ways we can keep you healthy for years to come.

How I thrive

I love spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I enjoy traveling and reading. I keep active by hiking one of the many local trails, swimming, and running.
